The Orion’s Belt Browser Game is seen by many people as a Master of Orion remake. It shares a lot of the concepts present on Master of Orion, and it’s played on a browser, without the need to install anything. But Orion’s Belt is not a Master of Orion clone, but certainly the Master of Orion fans will find this space combat game very interesting.

Similarities between Orion’s Belt and Master of Orion

Just like on Master of Orion, the Orion’s Belt turn based game has a vast universe to explore. You have a graphic representation of the universe, with planets and fleets traveling around. The planets you conquer, will be able to grow by building specific facilities. These facilities vary by your race and will provide you with rare resources, to build the best combat units. As you can see, the game as all the common features of a Sci-Fi Browser Game.

Depending on the race you choose, you’ll have a specific planet view, with specific resources and facilities to manage. Orion’s Belt is more targeted for combat, and each race has a lot com powerful combat units. The planets are simple to manage one by one, but you’ll need extra management skills the take the best of them all as a group. And imagine theĀ  concept of master of orion multiplayer: trading becomes so much interesting. We have a lot of resources and depending on your race you’ll need more of some. This makes commerce very important on the game.

No Master of Orion remake would feel the same without the something similar to the master of orion’s battle system. On Orion’s Belt the battles are one on one, with combat units with very special abilities. This makes the game very challenging, and only the best commanders on the field get the win.

Master of Orion - Multiplayer

A great feature of Orion’s Belt tactical MMO, comparing with Master of Orion, is that Orion’s Belt is like an online master of orion, multiplayer game. You play against other real players on the universe. You may also find computer controlled fleets, but the majority of the action you’ll face is against other players. This gives diplomacy and battles a great boost. So, if you liked this space browser game concept, waste no more time and Register for a FREE Account!
